This is a quick summary of the background events leading up to my account being disabled.
As I said in my last post, I am a moderator on a Facebook application which I'll call "FBM." About a week before I got banned, various members of the application started mysteriously disappearing, including a fellow moderator. In total, at least 8 different accounts were confirmed to have been disabled by Facebook, all without warning. In every case, the accounts were cited as fake accounts.
After about a week, most of the accounts were reactivated. Some of them, including the moderator, were required to scan government-issued identification into an email before Facebook would consider them "real."
It is highly likely that these accounts were all reported by a single player who has had numerous fake accounts banned from the application and is disgruntled at much of the community. As you will see, I have explained this to Facebook many times and urged them to make the obvious connection, but this point has been completely ignored.
Coming up tomorrow: I attempt to contact Facebook!
