So you're probably thinking, "Well, your account got zapped, but I'm an established user. Surely they wouldn't do this to me!"
Wrong.
In this section, I am going to provide the history of my account. I think you will agree that it was quite well established.
My name: Jeff G****
Account name: Jeff G****
I registered my account around December 2004, back when Facebook required a university network for access. My email address was g****j2@****.edu: a verified, university-issued email. After I graduated, I added the email jeffrey.g****@****.edu: another issued email.
That's two verified networks over 4 1/2 years, both with issued emails containing my name.
I have many pictures under my account, many tagged by friends who do not know each other. I also have the generic profile complete with the info section and years' worth of comments, messages, and other interactions with a fairly large friend list.
I have never been warned, and never been banned. Facebook has never had to contact me for anything in the time I have been on the site. I moderate one application (see next post), am a member of many others, and report actual fake accounts from time to time.
As you can see, my account is as regular as regular can be. And yet Facebook disabled me without notice. You have been warned.
